It's a Part of Life

The very moment a life is born
The unceasing fight begins for survival
Keeping the unceasing tempo of revival
Life teaches something new, quite often
It's a part of life to experience.

Like a beautiful dawn aspiring to bloom
The crawling days stumble into slow walks
Surrounded by caring and loving talks
Time delights, keeping aside all the gloom
It's a part of life to experience.

Like a mid-noon sun, crazy and scorching
Maturing life transforms into youthful mood
Life swings from dreams to romantic moods
Taming the future to enjoy a bright living
It's a part of life to experience.

Now, it's the turn of the crest fallen dusk
Shadows stretch, sun hastens to disappear
Mid-age likewise plunges into a fit of stupor
Dreams stumble, castles remain mere tasks.
It's a part of life to experience.

Fearful, like the ultimate impending night
The imprisoned life fretters with disgust
The nightmarish old-age ties the final knot
Stalling the phase of life by destiny's might
It's a part of life to experience.

Accept the Prayers

Darkness encircles all corners
Lord, he prays to hear his prayers
Yes, aspiring for a different dawn
He seeks to shun fears, unknown

Grappling for day-to-day survival
Orphaned, the days were tyrannical
As equivalent a suffering was hunger
And love remains an unfulfilled desire.

Braving cold and the torrential rain
The hard toil under the mid-noon sun
Somehow youthful age had dawned
But hassles still prevail, un-confronted.

Ruffled hair, wearing clothes tattered
No soul to show mercy; trust betrayed
Lo destiny! Are orphans the un-equals
Show a path at least for smooth survival.

Yes, dispel the fears of future uncertain
Oh Lord, accept prayers of a poor orphan.
