caterpillars sitting in a rosebush Looking at the sky, they wonder
what it feels like.

a devotee's call
Lord how I love you, I give you my
hand: Have pity! Allow me to walk in your land. The scent of
the flowers, the sun's gentle rays, Passing the hours in long
formless days. A beautiful river with comfortable banks, Lord
how I love you, I give you my thanks.
This vessel I fear will
soon be renewed, But my spirit with yours is fully imbued. I'm
ready for your eternal embrace, Have pity that I may witness your
face; Your beauty, perfection: my service was good, Despite
falling short I did what I could.
Poor blossom of trees that
know not their name, Wherever it falls, the fate is the same: A
gentle wind blowing a perfume to me, Lord bring me the flowers so
that I may see Their beauty and grace and life without fears; No
worries, no cares, no shuddering tears.
