Earthbound – Unbound

Earthbound they stand, shadows cast
watching the fluid beauty shine
crystal motion through thin glass.

With this water they understand
the abstraction of the universe.
Perfection captured by clear glass.

There clouds of bubbles move and linger
where tears fall upwards towards light
each one an impression of peace.                                         

Through this water, bounded by glass
there is purpose. Here souls escape
this monotonous, earthbound life.

Those aircraft through water, through this glass
through turbulence, past strict angles                                                 
they move through air and water
with fire they roar. Unbound.
